Cornerstone Insurance and the Longworth family's $100,000 donation secures naming rights for the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre reception area, supporting the community of Prince Albert.

Colder weather and snowfall have impacted transit operations in Prince Albert, resulting in some routes being taken offline or temporarily moved to hourly service. Prince Albert Transit is actively working to ensure continued coverage of all routes and share timely updates with the public.

The City of Prince Albert is proud to recognize the Dutchak family for their generous $100,000 donation to the Play It Forward campaign in support of the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre.

"The Meeting Place", an overnight warm-up centre, will operate seven nights a week from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., starting December 15, 2025, and continuing until April 2026.  

The City of Prince Albert invites you to the 2025 Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 3. This free, family-friendly celebration will feature festive activities including caroling, wagon rides, hot chocolate, s’mores, and a family photo op, all leading up to the tree lighting at 7 p.m.

After three full days of careful review and discussion, the City of Prince Albert’s Budget Committee has concluded deliberations on the proposed 2026 budget. Following committee decisions and a comprehensive review of departmental spending, the taxation requirement has been reduced by $1,112,686 to $3,309,467 to be funded from property taxes.

The City of Prince Albert and the Prince Albert Historical Society have renewed their long-standing partnership with a new ten-year Support Agreement, effective January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2035, reinforcing their shared commitment to preserving the city’s rich heritage.

Prince Albert’s Budget Committee will meet starting November 19, 2025, to consider the proposed 2026 capital and operating budgets as presented by City Administration.
