Prince Albert offers a wide range of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages. From indoor facilities like the Alfred Jenkins Field House and the new Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre, to outdoor parks, trails, sports fields, and rinks—there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to join a fitness class, play team sports, swim, skate, or enjoy the outdoors, Recreation Services supports active, healthy living year-round.

Recreation also plays a key role in our sports economy. Prince Albert regularly hosts regional, provincial, and national tournaments and events that draw visitors, generate tourism, and support local businesses.

New Leisure Centre

The Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre is the newest city facility with aquatics and twin arenas.

Community Clubs

There are 10 city-owned community clubs in Prince Albert. Volunteer operated, each facility offers a variety of amenities for residents.

There are many senior activities and programs in our community. Some programs may require pre-registration.

Skating

Prince Albert offers multiple opportunities to get on the ice. Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre is taking ice bookings now.

Swimming

The Kinsmen Water Park is now open for the summer! Public swimming is 1 pm-7 pm daily, weather permitting, all summer!

The City of Prince Albert plays an important supporting role in many of our local events.

Sports in PA
