The City of Prince Albert advises residents and businesses that 2026 Property Tax Notices are being mailed out today, May 28, 2026. Residents and business owners can expect to begin receiving their notices by mail starting Friday.
Prince Albert City Council will consider the proposed 2026 Property Tax Plan at an upcoming City Council meeting on Monday, April 20, 2026.
Pursuant to Section 187 of The Cities Act, notice is hereby given
that the assessment notices for the City of Prince Albert for the
year 2026 are being mailed on January 28, 2026 by regular mail.
After three full days of careful review and discussion, the City of Prince Albert’s Budget Committee has concluded deliberations on the proposed 2026 budget. Following committee decisions and a comprehensive review of departmental spending, the taxation requirement has been reduced by $1,112,686 to $3,309,467 to be funded from property taxes.
Prince Albert’s Budget Committee will meet starting November 19, 2025, to consider the proposed 2026 capital and operating budgets as presented by City Administration.
Property tax notices for 2025 were mailed out this week. Most property owners will notice an increase in taxation. Two key factors driving this year’s tax increases are Revaluation and the 2025 Budget.
