Students and families are encouraged to kick off the school year by taking the bus on Wednesday, September 2. All public transit will be free on Wednesday, including Access Transit for those who qualify. Public transit is available each weekday starting at 6:45 a.m.
The downtown transit stops at City Hall and McIntosh Mall will be closed on Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18 due to road construction. A temporary transit stop will be located on Central Avenue at 11 Street East.
Downtown transit will be rerouted on Wednesdays from July 8, 2026 until September 10, 2026 for the Prince Albert Farmer's Market. Central Avenue from 10 Avenue East to 11 Avenue East will be closed to vehicle traffic each Wednesday morning until 1 p.m. Transit stops in front of Prince Albert City Hall will be unavailable during these times.
The Core Express bus is not in service at this time. All other routes are operating as scheduled.
