“You‑th Speak Up” Community Event
The City of Prince Albert, in partnership with The Students’ Commission, is inviting local youth to share their voices at You‑th Speak Up, a youth-focused engagement event taking place on Wednesday, May 7, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gateway Mall (across from Claire’s).
Designed for youth and young adults aged 12 to 25, You‑th Speak Up is a drop-in feedback session that encourages young people to share their ideas, document challenges they face, and showcase their vision for the future of Prince Albert.
The event offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where youth can engage directly with City Councillors, enjoy live music from the PA Band, and take part in interactive discussions that will inform future City initiatives and planning. Snacks will be provided, and participants will also have the chance to win free pizzas. Free afternoon transit will support youth who rely on transit to get to and from the event.
“Youth voices are essential to building a safe, vibrant, and inclusive community,” said Anna Dinsdale, Community Safety and Well-Being Manager. “This event is an opportunity for young people to be heard and to see how their perspectives can help shape the future of Prince Albert.”
You‑th Speak Up is part of the City’s strategic vision of building a city of opportunity and belonging that the community are proud to call home.
