The City of Prince Albert advises residents that annual hydraulic flushing of the water distribution system will begin in Zone 1 during the week of August 31, 2026.

This past weekend, the mural on City Hall was removed after a condition assessment determined that restoration was no longer viable.

The City’s Water Treatment Plant has collected water samples for further testing. Based on the results to date, the City can confirm that the water remains safe to drink.

The City of Prince Albert has pleaded guilty in Provincial Court to a violation of the Saskatchewan Health and Safety Act stemming from an incident in July 2024. The City accepted a fine of $92,857 and will also be responsible for a court surcharge of $37,142.
