Yard waste collection extended for one more round
Good news for anyone with a few more leaves to clean up. Yard waste collection has been extended to November 5, 2026, giving residents one additional round of collection across the City. Please have your yard waste out by 7:30 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.
The last day for yard waste collection will be:
- Area 2: Tuesday, October 27
- Area 3: Wednesday, October 28
- Area 1: Monday, November 2
- Area 4: Thursday, November 5
Depending on the amount of yard waste and conditions, crews may need more than one day to complete collection in your area. If your yard waste is not picked up on the scheduled day, please leave it out for collection.
Yard Waste Collection will take place on the scheduled recycling day for each area.
Collection calendars can be downloaded and printed from the City website. Residents can also sign up for garbage and recycling collection reminders through the Recycle Coach app.
After curbside collection ends, residents can continue to take yard waste to the Landfill in paper bags free of charge, provided it is not mixed with garbage.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Yard Waste Collection program and helped keep yard waste out of the Landfill.
