The City of Prince Albert, in partnership with The Students’ Commission, is inviting local youth to share their voices at You‑th Speak Up, a youth-focused engagement event taking place on Wednesday, May 7, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gateway Mall (across from Claire’s).

The City of Prince Albert is inviting residents, partners, and stakeholders to attend a drop‑in community information session to learn more about the upcoming Complex Needs Facility, an initiative designed to enhance community safety, improve wellness supports, and meet the needs of residents who face complex challenges.

The City is advancing parking solutions in Prince Albert of introducing online payment options and a new mobile parking app in 2026. Residents and visitors will soon be able of pay for hourly, weekly, or monthly parking online at meters and lots across Prince Albert, as an alternative to coins, meter cards, and hard-copy parking permits.

"The Meeting Place", an overnight warm-up centre, will operate seven nights a week from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., starting December 15, 2025, and continuing until April 2026.  

The City of Prince Albert has been awarded a $3.6 million grant from Health Canada’s Emergency Treatment Fund to help prevent overdose deaths in the community.
