Mailed Paper Utility Bills to Cost $2 Starting June 1
The City of Prince Albert is reminding utility customers that beginning June 1, 2026, mailed paper copies of water utility bills will cost $2 per bill. Residents can avoid the fee by switching to free email billing before the deadline.
Customers who sign up for email billing by May 31, 2026, will continue to receive their utility bill directly in their inbox at no cost. The City is encouraging residents to switch now to avoid additional fees and enjoy a faster, more convenient way to receive their bills.
“We’re encouraging residents to make the switch to email billing before June 1 to avoid unnecessary fees and enjoy a more convenient way to receive their utility bills,” said Natara Chubak, Financial Operations Manager for the City of Prince Albert. “Email delivery is faster, more reliable, and helps reduce printing and mailing costs.”
Residents can register for email billing by completing the online sign-up form at www.citypa.ca/water-bill. Using the online form helps ensure email addresses are entered correctly and reduces the risk of billing issues.
Customers who choose to pick up a printed bill at City Hall will be charged a $10 printing fee per bill.
