Swimming Lesson Information
Important Dates
Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre – Aquatics will close temporarily after June 19 for scheduled maintenance. Both facilities will run adjusted schedules during the transition.
Transition Schedule
Monday – Friday (June 6–19)
1:00 – 7:00 pm - Public Swim
1:00 – 3:00 pm - School Rental (runs at the same time as public swim)
Saturday – Sunday (June 6–19)

Public, Lane Swimming and Aquafit Times
Public swimming is 1pm-7pm daily, weather permitting all summer!
Monday-Friday Lane Swim:

Saturday Aquafit (New! Starting June 20, 2026)

After-Hour Rentals will begin on June 8th and run until August 8th. They will be available 7:30pm-9pm almost daily, weather permitting.
Online registration opened May 20th @ 10am online. Days are full - watch for cancellations!
All children under the age of 8 must wear a red wristband and stay within arms reach of an adult in the water at all times. One adult can supervise a maximum of three children.
Children aged 8-10 must wear a green wristband and can swim on their own but must have an adult at the park with them.
Every attempt will be made to keep the Kinsmen Water Park open during the designated hours of operation. Please note that we must close the park in the event of thunder, lightning, or extreme rain.

Other Water Park features:
The Kinsmen Water Park does not supply lifejackets/PFD's. Swimmers may bring their own lifejackets/PFD's from home. Children under the age of 8 who are wearing a lifejacket/PFD must stay within arms reach of an adult over the age of 18.
Please be sure to review the Kinsmen Water Park rules before arriving at the park.
Swimming Lessons this summer at the KWP will consist of four separate 2-week sets of Swimming Lessons during July and August. There will be a large variety of swimming lessons offered, ranging from Parent and Tot to Swim Patrol courses. There will be no lessons on statutory holidays.
Resident registration opened online on June 2 @ 10 am. Check online for cancellations and to be added to the waitlist!
Lessons will run in 4 sets this year:
All sets will run Tuesday-Friday for 2 weeks.

Enjoy outdoor fun at the Kinsmen Water Park (open June to August) and dive into our brand-new Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre Aquatics, now open with lessons, public swimming, private rentals, and programming. The Kinsmen Water Park is closed for the season. The Frank J. Dunn Swimming Pool is permanently closed.
