Yard Waste Collection will Resume April 22, 2025

The City of Prince Albert wants to remind residents that Yard Waste Collection will resume on May 13, 2026. Yard waste can also be dropped off free of charge at the landfill Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:15 pm.

Yard waste collection will start in these areas on the following dates:

Area 1 – Resumes May 20, 2026

Area 2 – Resumes May 13, 2026

Area 3 – Resumes May 14, 2026

Area 4 – Resumes May 21, 2026

General information about the Yard Waste program:

• Yard waste is picked up on the same day as the Recycling.
• Do not put yard waste out on the street until collection day.
• Place yard waste in paper bags and ensure each bag weighs less than 25kg.
• Branches should be tied in bundles and cut to be less than one meter in length. 
• Place the yard waste bags at least three feet away from your recycling bin. 
• Make sure the yard waste bags are placed out for collection by 7:30 a.m. on the scheduled day.
