The Prince Albert Arts Centre is one of the last of its kind on the prairies and a national historic landmark. The former Prince Albert Town Hall and Opera House was completed in 1893 and is now a thriving arts facility offering a wide variety of art, craft and creative opportunities for all members of our community.
The Arts Centre offers many organized and create your own programs for all ages and abilities. The building includes the John V. Hicks Gallery, Heritage Room, studio and board room. The rooms are available for rental use.

Prince Albert Arts Centre Rates & Fees 2022Room rental bookings outside of our regular hours may be available and are an additional $20/hour. Please call the Arts Centre to book your room.
Regular Rates Hourly $17.25
Groups and Guilds Rates Hourly $12.00 StudioThe studio is a large room on the second floor of the Arts Centre. It fits approximately 80 people. Heritage RoomThe Heritage Room is on the main floor of the Arts Centre and fits approximately 40 people. BoardroomThe boardroom has a boardroom table and chairs and is located on the main floor. It fits approximately 10 people. Pottery StudioOur well-equipped Pottery Studio is in the basement is open to all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced. Options for beginner to advanced potters include hourly ($5/hr.), daily ($10/day) or monthly rates ($70/month). Punch cards are also available - 10 punches/10 hours for $30. The Pottery Studio can also be rented out for private use if there are no programs or classes in progress. It fits approximately 15 people.

Hollander (Paper Maker)The Hollander can be rented through a Heritage Room rental at the Groups & Guilds rates. A one hour orientation with a papermaking technician must be arranged for new users. Screen PrintingThe screen printing equipment can be rented through a Studio Room rental at the Groups and Guilds rate, plus $10 per screen set up, and $5 per 30 shirts for ink and cleaning supplies. The renter must have attended Screen Printing training and/or a minimum four week program. Paper Making ScreensVarious sizes of screens. 10 per rental. $17.25/day. Sandblaster - Table Top Printing Press - Wash Out BoothThe sandblaster, table top press, and wash out booth can be rented by the half hour (room rental rates). The renter must be familiar with the machines. PianosThere are two pianos that can be rented by the half hour (room rental rates). Mah Jongg GameAmerican version of Mah Jongg can be rented for $17.25/day Lino Cut Kit10 Lino cut tools, 4 brayers and inks for relief printing. $17.25/day Paint Kit35 table top easels, 35 x 5 types of brushes, water cups and pallets. For use with water based paint only. For use in the Arts Centre with a room rental. Paper Making ScreensVarious sizes of screens. 10 per rental. $17.25 per day.

Birthday Parties |

Book a three hour birthday party that includes a pottery or arts program, instructor, supplies and room rental at a cost per child/youth. You can also rent a room and plan your own party. Parties are dependent on Instructor availability.

The pottery studio is available for school and group rates for pottery and other programs. Rates are arranged at a fee per school or group size. We also now offer a screen printing program. School group bookings are available weekdays from September to June, subject to Instructor availability.

We have several supplies available for purchase including clay, pottery tool kits, underglazes, drawing pencils, acrylic and watercolour paints, painting papers and brushes. |
