This Friday, June 2nd. the Kinsmen Water Park opens their doors for the 2023 season. On Friday the park is open from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. KWP is open daily for public swimming from 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Note: Frank Dunn Pool will be CLOSED for the rest of the summer!
Lane swimming starts Saturday. The complete schedule is on-line.

The Pine Needle Mountain Bike & Music Festival is back! The Festival includes mountain biking (teams of four relay), live music, kids events (MNP Trail Run) and food!
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the live music from Liza Brown, Heartwarming, Greenwing, Anna Haverstock, LJ Tyson & The Locals and Oscars Hollow. This is an amazing day in the beautiful Little Red River Park! Money raised goes back into the Park.

Five Minutes from Home

Five Minutes from Home exhibits the nature and wildlife photography of local artist Valerie Joy Horner. "Nature is so wondrously, mystically entrancing within our city and beyond. The river, the boreal forest, the plains and the skies encircling us provide endless gifts that can often go unnoticed," shares Horner. All of the pieces in the exhibit were taken within a five-minute radius of Prince Albert’s borders.
National Indigenous Peoples Day
Wednesday, June 21st
Location: On the Riverbank
The Prince Albert Indian and Metis Friendship Centre, Prince Albert Grand Council, West Flat Citizens Group, and the Prince Albert Urban Indigenous Coalition will be holding a Pipe Ceremony, Cultural Village and activities at the Riverbank. There will also be a Pride Walk from Kinsmen Park to the River. Watch for more information on Facebook.

The Prince Albert Historical Museum’s Downtown Walking Tours are every Thursday and Sunday at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. All tours leave from the Historical Museum at the end of Central Ave. The cost is $2 per person. Pre-register by calling (306) 764-2992. Drop-ins are welcome.
