Report a Concern is a tool for residents to communicate with the City of Prince Albert about matters of safety, cleanliness, infrastructure issues and general maintenance. These online forms are to be used for non-urgent issues. We are committed to providing a response within a timely manner.

Animal Services

The Prince Albert SPCA is contracted by the City to provide animal control services relating to cats and dogs. Please contact the SPCA directly at 306-981-6115 to report cat or dog concerns.

Unsightly Properties

If you are reporting an unsightly property which contains garbage, property damage or debris (with or without overgrown weeds or grass), please contact Bylaw Enforcement at 306-953-4370.

For all other unsightly property concerns, please complete the Report a Bylaw Violation form.

Water or Sewer Concerns

Frozen Catch Basin

In the Spring, catch basins freeze up which stops water from draining properly. Water pooling on a street could be an indication of a frozen catch basin. There are over 2500 catch basins in Prince Albert and each frozen one can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours to thaw.

Watermain or Connection Break

Signs of a water main break include running water on the street, a sinkhole, water suddenly not turning on or sudden changes to the water pressure. If you think there may be a water main break please contact us immediately to report it.

Water Meter Leak

We are responsible for leaks coming directly from the meter as well as from where the pipe joins the meter. The homeowner is responsible for all other leaks and repairs. This includes leaks at the main shut off valve.

If the leak is coming directly from the meter, please report it to us by completing the Water Meter Leak Report a Concern Form or call the department directly at 306-953-4340.
