The City of Prince Albert requires taxis to be licenced and taxi drivers to have an ID card.
Taxi licence
Every taxi operating in the City of Prince Albert requires a City issued taxi licence. If you are needing a new taxi licence, or the transfer of a plate, vehicle or ownership, you will need to complete a Taxi Application.
Completed applications can be dropped off at the Community Development Department, 3rd Floor, City Hall. You will be contacted by the Bylaw Enforcement Division once your application has been processed. If a taxi inspection is required, the inspection will be booked at that time.
Payment can be made when the application is dropped off or after you have been contacted by the Bylaw Enforcement Division.
