The City of Prince Albert has been awarded a $3.6 million grant from Health Canada’s Emergency Treatment Fund to help prevent overdose deaths in the community.

The City of Prince Albert is advising residents that ongoing improvement projects will be taking place at Little Red River Park over the next several weeks to enhance park amenities and improve the visitor experience.

The City is looking for individuals interested in engaging in civic matters and providing expertise and knowledge to help guide recommendations and decisions that impact the city or its residents.

Prince Albert City Council will consider a report from Administration on Tuesday October 14, 2025 introducing a Zoning Bylaw Amendment to permit “4-Units as of Right” in all residential zones, excluding Country Residential. This proposed change is required to qualify for funding under the Canadian Housing Infrastructure Fund.
