Effective Aug 1, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., a Fire Ban has been declared for all areas north of the North Saskatchewan River within the City of Prince Albert.
No fire ban is currently in effect, but here's a reminder for residents to follow fire safety rules for fire pits and backyard burning.
A new tax incentive program is now available for developers building new commercial or multi-unit residential projects in Prince Albert. The program, approved by City Council on July 21, 2025, offers a declining scale tax abatement over four years and applies to new construction projects approved after that date.
Yard Waste will be picked up the same day as your recycling. Bags must not exceed 25kg (55 pounds).

Free RV and trailer campsites for evacuees from areas impacted by wildfires in northern Saskatchewan.
With ongoing wildfires and the recent State of Emergency declared for Saskatchewan, the City would like to advise that, as of today, the City of Prince Albert has not been engaged to provide a facility for evacuees.
