  • Fire Dept Adds New Fire Engine

    The Prince Albert Fire Department is proud to announce the addition of a new fire engine, designated E13, to its fleet.

  • Fire Ban lifted on Aug 11, 2025

    Due to recent precipitation, the fire ban issued on August 1, 2025, for all areas north of the North Saskatchewan River, including Little Red River Park, will be lifted today at 10:00 a.m.

  • Fire Ban Declared

    Effective Aug 1, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., a Fire Ban has been declared for all areas north of the North Saskatchewan River within the City of Prince Albert.

  • Outdoor Burning & Fire Pit Rules

    No fire ban is currently in effect, but here's a reminder for residents to follow fire safety rules for fire pits and backyard burning.

  • Wildfire Evacuees Help

    Free RV and trailer campsites for evacuees from areas impacted by wildfires in northern Saskatchewan.

  • City Supports for Wildfire Evacuees

    With ongoing wildfires and the recent State of Emergency declared for Saskatchewan, the City would like to advise that, as of today, the City of Prince Albert has not been engaged to provide a facility for evacuees.

  • Bush Fire Closes Highway 3

    Highway 3 just south of Prince Albert is currently closed due to a large grass/brush fire on Elevator Road, between Hwy 2 and 3.

  • Fire Ban Declared

    Effective May 5, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., a Fire Ban has been declared for all areas north of the North Saskatchewan River within the City of Prince Albert.
