The City of Prince Albert will once again be offering the Anti-Graffiti Paint Program. This program encourages citizens to help reduce graffiti vandalism by REPORTING IT, RECORDING IT and/or REMOVING IT.
Homeowners, business owners and privately owned facilities can apply to the City of Prince Albert to receive one (1) FREE Paint Kit (which contains: one gallon of paint, one tray, one brush/roller and gloves) allowing the individual to paint over graffiti located on their property's exterior surfaces. Free Anti-Graffiti Paint Kits are only available for as long as weather permits. Applications received when temperatures are below zero will not be considered.
Only property owners can apply for the program and not renters. Owners should please bring proof of property ownership like a tax receipt.
Studies show that the most effective way to prevent graffiti is to remove it promptly. With this program in place, the City would like to provide some assistance to residents that are interested in immediately removing graffiti from their property.
NOTE: The 2021 Anti-Graffiti Paint Program does not include costs to sandblast or remove graffiti in alternative manners and the Anti-Graffiti Paint Program is not retroactive.
