Residents encouraged to keep up sidewalk snow clearing
As we enter the last weeks of Winter, the City of Prince Albert would like to remind residents to continue to do what they can to ensure sidewalks are clear of snow- and ice. Pedestrians rely on cleared sidewalks to move safely around the City.
The City acknowledges there are challenges that seniors and others face when it comes to sidewalk clearing and asks that individuals make every effort to clear their walks and possibly lend a hand to neighbours that are unable to do so themselves.
The City’s Golden Shovel Awards are still open for nomination. If you have a neighbour that is lending a helping hand by clearing your sidewalks, consider nominating them.
