Overnight Sewer flushing to affect 2nd Ave and 15th Str West Intersection

The City of Prince Albert would like to advise motorists that overnight sewer flushing will cause lane restrictions at the 2nd Ave and 15 Street West Intersection this weekend. The crews will be doing the work during the night because of heavy equipment requirements and to limit traffic disruptions.

Details of the operations at this intersection are as follow:

• Flushing will start on Friday, July 15^th to Saturday, July 16^th  (weather permitting).
• Crews will start at 8 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. 

Between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. motorists will experience:

• Limited road access,
• Lane restrictions,
• Barricades to merge traffic,
• Full slow-down road ramps across the road to protect the high-pressure water pipes.

All equipment and lane restrictions will be removed at 6 a.m. daily for the duration of the work.
