Controlled Burn at the Landfill

The City of Prince Albert plans to conduct a controlled burn of the clean wood pile at the Prince Albert Landfill on March 5, 2024. The controlled burn is authorized under the Landfill’s Operating Permit from the Ministry of Environment. The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency will be notified, and the Prince Albert Fire Department has inspected the site.

The public may see smoke in the area as part of the controlled burn process over the next several days.
