Zoning Bylaw Amendment – Bylaw No. 25 of 2025
Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Prince Albert intends to consider Bylaw No. 25 of 2025 to amend The City of Prince Albert Zoning Bylaw No. 1 of 2019.
Reason for the Bylaw: At its meeting on September 15, 2025, City Council gave first reading to Bylaw No. 25 of 2025 and directed Administration to provide Public Notice for a Public Hearing. The bylaw proposes to amend the Zoning Bylaw by rezoning the land shown in the red dashed line below from M2 – Small Lot Light Industrial to C – Contract Zoning (I1 – Institutional General). The purpose of the rezoning is to allow for the development of the permanent Shelter.
Therefore, City Council, at its meeting to be held on Monday, October 6th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., will consider all submissions, both written and verbal, respecting the Public Hearing for the above bylaw amendment.
If you would like your written submission reviewed by City Council PRIOR to the meeting, it would be preferable if it were provided by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025. Due to the statutory holiday, please email cityclerk@citypa.com with your submission, or leave it in the drop box at City Hall (main door).
In accordance with City Council’s Procedure Bylaw No. 23 of 2021, any written submissions must be provided to the City Clerk. Verbal submissions shall be heard during the Public Hearing portion of the meeting.
