Partial Road Closure – Bylaw No. 07 Of 2026

Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Prince Albert intends to consider Bylaw No. 07 of 2026 to authorize the road closure outlined below. 

Reason for the Closure: On July 21, 2025, City Council approved the sale of City land to SaskEnergy to allow ownership of their service station located along 21st Street East and the Cooke Municipal Golf Course. To proceed, approximately 24 m² of 21st Street East is required to be closed and sold to SaskEnergy. The subject right-of-way is shown in the red dashed line below.

Therefore, City Council, at its meeting to be held on March 16th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., will consider all written submissions. If you would like your written submission reviewed by City Council prior to the meeting, it would be preferable if it were provided by 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026. In accordance with City Council’s Procedure Bylaw No. 23 of 2021, any written submissions must be provided to the City Clerk.
