Notice of Mailing of Assessment Notices

Pursuant to Section 187 of The Cities Act, notice is hereby given
that the assessment notices for the City of Prince Albert for the
year 2026 are being mailed on January 28, 2026 by regular mail.

Notice is also hereby given that Bylaw No. 4 of 2003 provides
that City Council dispense with the preparation of assessment
notices and notice may not be given if the assessed value of a
property:

  1. has not changed from the previous year’s assessed
    value; or
  2. the increase or decrease in assessed value does not
    exceed the lesser of:
    1. $1,000 from the previous year’s assessed value; and
    2. 1% of the previous year’s assessed value.

The assessment roll is open to inspection at the office of the
Assessor, located at City Hall (1084 Central Avenue) from 8:00
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following days:

Monday to Friday, January 28, 2026 to February 27, 2026.

Any person who wishes to appeal against their property
valuation, classification, tax status, the content of the notice or,
the preparation of the assessment roll is required to file a notice
of appeal with the Board of Revision to the address below, by:

4:30 p.m. on the 27th day of February, 2026
