Improvement Projects Underway at Little Red

The City of Prince Albert is advising residents that ongoing improvement projects will be taking place at Little Red River Park over the next several weeks to enhance park amenities and improve the visitor experience.

Four-Season Washroom
Construction continues on the new four-season washroom facility. This week, holes will be drilled for the accessible deck, and wood bollards will be installed around the site. Deck framing will also begin as part of this phase of development.

Rotary Adventure Playground
Enhancements are also planned for the Rotary Adventure Playground area:

• Trail Improvements: This week, multi-purpose trail upgrades will take place to improve accessibility and user safety.

• Playground Surface Maintenance: Due to high visitor use and surfacing displacement, a border will be installed around the Co-op Community Tower Zone, and additional sand will be added to maintain CSA playground safety standards.

Visitors are reminded to use caution around active work zones, follow all posted signage, and always supervise children while they play.

The City thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as these upgrades are completed to ensure Little Red River Park remains a safe, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.
