Flags at City Hall Lowered for National Day of Mourning

The flags at Prince Albert City Hall will be lowered to half-mast on April 28 to mark the National Day of Mourning for Workers Killed or Injured on the Job. We join communities across Canada in remembering and honouring those who have lost their lives or been injured in the workplace.

Flags will remian half mast on April 29 to honour the victims of the Lapu Lapu festival in Vancouver.

The City of Prince Albert follows the Rules for Half-Masting as directed by the Government of Canada and the Government of Saskatchewan's Protocol Offices when lowering flags to half-mast, ensuring alignment with federal and provincial standards during significant events and periods of mourning.
