Fire Ban Lifted August 11, 2025

Due to recent precipitation, the fire ban issued on August 1, 2025, for all areas north of the North Saskatchewan River, including Little Red River Park, will be lifted today at 10:00 a.m.

Residents are reminded that all recreational burning must comply with the City of Prince Albert’s Bylaw 15 of 2021. Failure to follow the bylaw may result in a $300 fine.

The Fire Department reminds residents to follow fire safety rules when using backyard fire pits, chimineas, and barbecues. These rules protect property, reduce nuisance smoke, and prevent fire risk in residential areas. Non-compliance with the bylaw may lead to a fine.
