Cornerstone Insurance and Longworth Family Make $100,000 Legacy Donation to LCCLC

On behalf of the residents of Prince Albert, the City expresses its sincere appreciation to Tim and Carla Longworth, the Longworth family, and the leadership team at Cornerstone Insurance for their generous $100,000 contribution to the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre, which will secure naming rights for the facility’s reception area.
For decades, the Longworth family has been an integral part of Prince Albert’s community life. Tim and Carla Longworth have carried forward a legacy built on compassion, civic responsibility, and a belief that our city deserves strong places where families can gather, play, and grow. Their dedication has strengthened organizations, supported neighbourhoods, and inspired generations of residents.
Today, that legacy continues with the next chapter of Cornerstone Insurance. The City proudly recognizes Brock Longworth and Shantel Kalika, whose leadership reflects the same community-first values that have guided the company since its earliest days. Their commitment ensures Cornerstone Insurance remains not only a trusted business but also a pillar of generosity and local pride.
“This donation is more than a financial contribution; it is an investment in the children, families, and shared future of Prince Albert. The impact of this gift will be felt for generations to come,” said Dawn Kilmer, City Councillor and representative of the Play It Forward campaign.
Tim, Carla, Brock, Shantel, and everyone at Cornerstone Insurance, thank you. Prince Albert is stronger, brighter, and more connected because of your generosity.
The Play It Forward campaign is a community-driven fundraising initiative supporting the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre. Thanks to the generosity of local donors, this campaign is helping build a space where residents of all ages can enjoy swimming, skating, and other recreational activities for years to come.
