In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day on September 30th , the City of Prince Albert would like to encourage everyone to wear an orange shirt in honour of the children who survived the Indian Residential Schools in Canada and remember those who didn’t.
The City of Prince Albert, in partnership with the Prince Albert Indian and Métis Friendship Centre (PAIMFC), is proud to announce a historic signing ceremony to formally recognize the development of Ceremonial and Cultural Grounds at the Upper Plains of Little Red River Park.
In 2025, the City will host two free public events focused on Reconciliation and Anti-Racism, inviting residents to engage in meaningful discussions and learning opportunities.
