  • Elm Tree Injections Kinsmen Park

    Elm trees in Kinsmen Park will be treated with a protective fungicide on Friday, August 22, as part of the City of Prince Albert’s efforts to safeguard its American elm population from Dutch Elm Disease (DED).

  • Yard Waste Placement Reminder

    Yard Waste will be picked up the same day as your recycling. Bags must not exceed 25kg (55 pounds).

  • National Day of Mourning

    The flags at Prince Albert City Hall will be lowered to half-mast on April 28 to mark the National Day of Mourning for Workers Killed or Injured on the Job. We join communities across Canada in remembering and honouring those who have lost their lives or been injured in the workplace.

  • Weekly Waste Pick-up resumes

    The Public Works Department would like to remind residents that weekly garbage collection begins Monday, May 5th, 2025. The blue recycle bins will continue to be picked up bi-weekly.

  • Yard Waste Resumes

    The City of Prince Albert wants to remind residents that Yard Waste Collection will resume April 22, 2025. Yard waste can also be dropped off free of charge at the landfill Monday to Saturday 8:00 am to 6:15 pm.

  • Anti-Graffiti Program Returns on April 16, 2025

    The City of Prince Albert will be offering the “New and Improved” Anti-Graffiti Program once again this year which provides property owners with options to better suit their removal needs, while at the same time, improves the City’s ability to accurately track graffiti occurrences within our community.

  • Pothole Repair Underway

    Now that the snow has melted, pothole repair operations are underway across Prince Albert. Crews have begun filling potholes as of mid-spring, focusing first on high-priority areas including major arterial roads, school zones, bus routes, and the Central Avenue business district. Residential streets will follow.

  • Wildlife Management at YPA

    The public is advised that loud noises may occasionally be heard in the vicinity of the Prince Albert Glass Field Airport while the Airport Wildlife Management Plan (AWMP) is in effect.

  • 2024 Prince Albert Water Quality Report

    The City of Prince Albert has released its 2024 Drinking Water Quality and Compliance Report, providing residents with a summary of the City's water quality performance and compliance with regulatory sampling requirements from January 1 to December 31, 2024.

  • KWP opens June 6!

    The Kinsmen Water Park officially opens for the 2025 season on Friday, June 6 at 4:00 p.m.
