  • Planned Flare by SaskEnergy in City Limits

    SaskEnergy will conduct a controlled flare on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at the SaskEnergy Town Border Station, which is located on the southwest edge of the City of Prince Albert, south of 36th Street West and west of 4th Avenue West, directly west of the Rose Garden Hospice. 

  • Schedule Update: Lane Swim & Aquasize

    Noon Hour Lane Swim and Morning Aquasize are cancelled today (Sept. 5) due to the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre. Regular programming will resume afterward.

  • Lane Pool Maintenance

    The City of Prince Albert advises the public, out of an abundance of caution, that a lane in the main pool has been roped off due to a few tiles shifting. The pool remains open and safe for use.

  • Pruning Ban for Elm Trees Lifted

    The ban on pruning elm trees has been lifted. A ban from April 1st, 2025, to August 31st, 2025, was in effect in accordance with provincial regulations.

  • Household Hazardous Waste Day – Sep 13, 2025

    The City of Prince Albert will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Day on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Municipal Service Centre (11, 38th Street East).

  • Instructor information Session at Margo Fournier Arts Centre

    The City of Prince Albert invites residents to an information session about teaching at the Margo Fournier Arts Centre. Join us on Tuesday, September 23, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Heritage Room at the Arts Centre.

  • Elm Tree Injections Kinsmen Park

    Elm trees in Kinsmen Park will be treated with a protective fungicide on Friday, August 22, as part of the City of Prince Albert’s efforts to safeguard its American elm population from Dutch Elm Disease (DED).

  • Yard Waste Placement Reminder

    Yard Waste will be picked up the same day as your recycling. Bags must not exceed 25kg (55 pounds).

  • National Day of Mourning

    The flags at Prince Albert City Hall will be lowered to half-mast on April 28 to mark the National Day of Mourning for Workers Killed or Injured on the Job. We join communities across Canada in remembering and honouring those who have lost their lives or been injured in the workplace.

  • Weekly Waste Pick-up resumes

    The Public Works Department would like to remind residents that weekly garbage collection begins Monday, May 5th, 2025. The blue recycle bins will continue to be picked up bi-weekly.
