Back to SearchPublic Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Prince Albert intends to consider Bylaw No. 23 of 2024 to authorize the walkway closure outlined below.
Reason for the Closure: At the City Council meeting held August 19th, 2024, first reading of Bylaw No. 23 of 2024 was given and Administration was authorized to provide Public Notification for a Public Hearing. Bylaw No. 23 of 2024 proposes to close a walkway that connects 22nd Street East to Agnew Street, legally described as St/L 13 Plan 60PA02018. The subject walkway shown in the map below is proposed to be closed, sold, and consolidated with the abutting properties. The walkway closure application was submitted with the intent to prevent any further nuisances to the surrounding neighbourhood. The subject walkway is shown in the dashed line below:
Therefore, City Council, at its meeting to be held on September 16th, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., will consider all submissions both written and verbal respecting the Public Hearing for the above bylaw. If you would like your written submission reviewed by City Council PRIOR to the meeting, it would be preferable if it were provided by 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024. In accordance with City Council’s Procedure Bylaw No. 23 of 2021, any written submissions must be provided to the City Clerk. Verbal submissions shall be heard during the Public Hearing portion of the meeting.
