Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Prince Albert intends to consider Bylaw No. 20 of 2024 to authorize the road closure outlined below.
Reason for the Closure: At the City Council meeting held October 7th, 2024, the first reading of Bylaw No. 20 of 2024 was given and Administration was authorized to provide Public Notification. Bylaw No. 20 of 2024 proposes to close a portion of 32nd Street bounded by 10th Avenue West and 12th Avenue West, legally described as St/L 1, Plan 60PA04064 Ext 2, and St/L 2, Plan G6438A. The portion of right-of-way is to be closed, sold, and consolidated with the abutting properties to support Metis Nation Saskatchewan’s development of Street Townhouses and a Child Care Center. The subject right-of-way is shown in the dashed line below:
Therefore, City Council, at its meeting to be held on December 16th, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., will consider all written submissions. If you would like your written submission reviewed by City Council prior to the meeting, it would be preferable if it were provided by 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024. In accordance with City Council’s Procedure Bylaw No. 23 of 2021, any written submissions must be provided to the City Clerk.
