We invite the residents of Prince Albert to join us for the second annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by Beau ‘Lac’ Funeral Home in partnership with the City of Prince Albert, on Wednesday, December 4, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Memorial Square, located outside City Hall in downtown Prince Albert. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and celebrate the spirit of community.
Highlights of the evening include:
- Tree Lighting at 7:00 p.m.: The main event will light up the big evergreen beside City Hall.
- Caroling by the Prince Albert Children's Choir: The beautiful voices of the choir will add festive cheer following the tree lighting.
- Santa Letter Writing and Colouring: Children can write letters to Santa and enjoy free colouring inside the warm foyer of City Hall.
- Hay Bale Rides: the Prince Albert Downtown Business Improvement District has sponsored hay bale rides for families to enjoy the scenic downtown area.
- Hot Chocolate & S'mores: Lake Country Co-Op will generously provide hot chocolate, and the Prince Albert Firefighters will host a fire pit for marshmallow roasting and s'more making.
Bundle up, bring your family and friends, and join us for an evening of festive fun!
