Summer Playground Program is Back!
Free Drop-In Fun for Ages 6–12!
Running Monday to Friday from July 2 to August 15, the City of Prince Albert’s Summer Playground Program offers FREE drop-in activities for kids ages 6 to 12 across 10 locations in the city!
Led by trained Playground Supervisors, each site offers a variety of fun and educational activities tailored to kids’ interests — from science and art to recreation, literacy, drama, and more!

Summer Playground Program Weekly Themes
Here’s what’s coming up each week for kids ages 6–12:
July 2–4: Space
We’re kicking off the season with science and space-themed, out-of-this-world adventures!
July 7–11: Decades
Blast to the past as we explore music and fun from the groovy ‘60s and beyond!
July 14–18: Fantasy
Step into a magical world of dragons, fairies, and castles where imagination takes the lead.
July 21–25: Champion
An action-packed week of sports, teamwork, and confidence-building activities.
July 28–August 1: Jungle
We’re heading into the wild with nature-based play and outdoor exploration.
August 5–8: Ranch
It’s all about western fun—think farm animals, cowboy games, and frontier adventure!
August 11–15: Under the Sea
Dive into a splashy week of ocean discovery and beach-themed fun.
