Lifeguard and Lifesaving Training

Starting in the 2024 season, user groups at City Recreation Facilities are required to collect a non-resident user fee for each non-resident participant. Learn more about the fee here: https://www.citypa.ca/en/news/non-resident-user-fees.aspx 

Check out these tips for a smooth registration:

  • Ensure you are able to log-into your account.
  • Add all children and family members to your family account. 
  • Contact a recreation facility prior to registration opening if you have any questions. 
  • Have payment details ready, or add to your account ahead of time.
  • Take note of the "Course ID" of your favorite courses for easy searching. 
  • Become familiar with the new online website prior to registration opening.

Unable to log-in

The City of Prince Albert transitioned to a new recreation software, Xplor Recreation, by PerfectMind in August 2023. If you have not created a new account, click here.

Email already in use

If your email is already in use when you create a new account, click "forgot password" for it to be reset. If this does not work, contact a recreation facility. 

Issues with web browser

When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing the browser cache & cookies fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.

Google Chrome web browser

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click More More.

  3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.

  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

  5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.

  6. Click Clear data.

Learn how to change more cookie settings in Chrome. For example, you can delete cookies for a specific site.

Android Phone

In the Chrome app

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More.
  3. Tap History and then Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Next to "Cookies and site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
  6. Tap Clear data.

iPhone and iPad

Clear cache in Safari

  1. Open Settings > General.
  2. Tap iPhone Storage and select Safari from the list of apps.
  3. Tap Website Data to view a breakdown of your data by website. ...
  4. Or, delete an individual site's data by swiping left and tapping Delete.

After clearing cache & cookies

  • Some settings on sites get deleted. For example, if you were signed in, you’ll need to sign in again.
  • Some sites can seem slower because content, like images, needs to load again.

How cache & cookies work

  • Cookies are files created by sites you visit. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing data.
  • The cache remembers parts of pages, like images, to help them open faster during your next visit.
