Rotary Museum of Police and Corrections

The Rotary Museum of Police & Corrections at 3700B - 2 Avenue West, commemorates the roles of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Prince Albert City Police, Saskatchewan Provincial Police, along with Saskatchewan Penitentiary and Provincial Correctional Centre within the community of Prince Albert.

The museum opened in 1985 in one of the original buildings from the Northwest Mounted Police Barracks, constructed in 1888, once located on the Peter Ballantyne Urban Reserve.

On display, you will find Mounted Police and Prince Albert City Police uniforms, weapons made by inmates and various items used as discipline methods at Saskatchewan Penitentiary.
