The following facilities offer free programming throughout the year:


Community Clubs

We are so fortunate to have 10 Community Clubs and 1 Community Centre — each with a unique set of recreation facilities to meet their community needs. Check out a tennis court this Fall or an outdoor rink this Winter!

Bernice Sayese Centre

The Bernice Sayese Centre is a hub for recreation in the West Flat area. The Centre has a gymnasium, hall, meeting facility, kitchen, pre-school and playground. Programs are set specific to each season.

Kinsmen Heritage Seniors Centre

Provides a variety of programming and recreational activities on weekdays and special events on weekends. Shuffleboard, dancing, exercise programs and special events. A small membership fee applies.


Museums

The Prince Albert Historical Society (PAHS) operates four museums in three locations within Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The museums capture the history of the Prince Albert area and include themes related to education, policing, Indigenous and settler history. The Society operates the John & Olive Diefenbaker Museum, a National Historic Site. Contact staff at 306-764-2992.

The Bill Smiley Archives is available for research through the Prince Albert Historical Society. 

John V Hicks Gallery

Visit the Gallery during Arts Centre hours of operation. New local or OSAC exhibits monthly. For more information call the Arts Centre at 306-953-4811

Mann Art Gallery

Visit, free of charge, the art gallery and relax and absorb the ambiance. 

Prince Albert Public Library

The library offers an extensive list of free programs each month. Try out adult and teen craft nights, creative writing, anime, book launches, one-on-one tech help, seniors computer classes, movie nights, and fall book club. Story times for babies, preschoolers, and kids after school. Drop-in Saturdays for kid's crafts, activity days, and matinees! 


Parks and Trails

Did you know that Prince Albert has 35 parks? Visit one today! Try disc golf in Mair Park; Tobogganing at Little Red, walk, bike or skateboard the Rotary Trail, or visit a playground .
