The City of Prince Albert has compiled a list of local and provincial resources for art teachers/educators

The Prince Albert Arts Board is a not-for-profit organization with a passionate board of directors. Our vision is drawn from the City of Prince Albert's Civic Arts Policy. That Prince Albert's:

  • Citizens have a multitude of opportunities to engage in creative pursuits as artists, students, participants, and audience members.
  • Reputation as an inclusive, innovative and culturally vibrant city is broadly recognized.
  • Artists thrive in an open and encouraging environment that places high value on their contributions to our community.

The Prince Albert Arts Board has two major initiatives:

  • The Arts Hall of Fame inductees can now be viewed at a kiosk at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre for the Arts. The Arts Hall of Fame started in 2014 with the purpose and goal to recognize and celebrate the artistic talents in Prince Albert. The Prince Albert Arts Board may select a maximum of three nominated inductees per year to ensure the inductee Gala/celebration is accessible and appropriate time and recognition to the inductees. Nomination deadline is March 31 each year.
  • Parts for the Arts – includes professional development for artists and art' organizations staff and volunteers, as well as exposure and awareness building of the artists and arts' organizations in our city and province.

The Arts Board is a resource and advocate for the arts in our city, and with City Council.
