The Alfred Jenkins Field House (AJFH) offers a variety of recreation programs and services for everyone in your family.
Indoor features include a soccer field, track, rock wall, gym, and fitness equipment. We have four beach volleyball courts for rent. Please call the front desk for available rental times. Two regulated soccer pitches are located immediately west of the field house. Alfred’s playground is the only universally accessible playground of its kind in Saskatchewan. At 17,000 feet, this playground is the largest in Canada. There are four 3x3 basketball courts with lighting. The party city outdoor gym is the most recent addition to the fieldhouse. It’s a 7000-square-foot adventure park designed for those 13+. The gym is illuminated in the evenings and outfitted with security cameras for safety.
We are featuring our own Brittany Hudak on this page! Prince Albert Paralympic athlete Brittany Hudak was presented the City of Prince Albert’s Award of Merit by Mayor Greg Dionne in 2022. Brittany is a lifelong resident of Prince Albert, won bronze medals in Women’s Individual Standing Biathlon and Cross Country Skiing Long Distance Classic Standing races at the 2022 Beijing Paralympic Games held in March. Hudak has represented Canada in 3 Paralympic Games now and has a total of 3 medals.
