Seniors Services

Active Seniors! Active Communities!

We offer age-friendly activities for adults 50+. There are many senior activities and programs in our community. Some programs may require pre-registration. Read more about how to Register for Seniors programs online and Register below.

Swimming is a relaxing, low-impact form of exercise that won't cause excess strain on joints and can be enjoyed at any age. The Frank J. Dunn Pool offers Aquacize and lane swimming programs.

The Seniors Walking Program, in partnership with the Seniors Walking Club, allows individuals 65+ the opportunity to use the B & B Walking Track at the Alfred Jenkins Field House weekdays. There is also FREE walking during the winter months at the Art Hauser Centre.

Free Adult/Senior public skating at the Dave G. Steuart Arena every Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon from October to March. View the full Public Skating schedule here

Find fitness, fun and friendship with a group of active adults at the Alfred Jenkins Field House. The classes focus on functional exercise to help maintain everyday tasks. There are also other light adult fitness and yoga classes offered.

In addition to Prince Albert Transit there are two special transportation services available:

The Seniors Transportation program is subsidized by the Province of Saskatchewan, the City of Prince Albert, the Prince Albert Community Service Centre and the Two Miles for Mary Fundraising Campaign presented by Saskatchewan Country CKBI Radio
