Jumpstart Playground at Alfred Jenkins Field House to Temporarily Close for Maintenance
The City of Prince Albert would like to advise residents that the Jumpstart Inclusive Playground at the Alfred Jenkins Field House will be temporarily closed for scheduled maintenance starting Monday, May 26 through to Monday, June 2, 2025.
The closure is necessary to allow for the complete resurfacing of the playground’s pour-in-place rubber surface. This important maintenance will help ensure the long-term safety, accessibility, and durability of the playground for all users.
“We’re committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive play space for children of all abilities,” said Erin Hurd. “This resurfacing work is a proactive step to make sure the playground remains in excellent condition for years to come. We appreciate everyone’s patience during the short closure.”
During the resurfacing period, the entire playground area will be fenced off and closed to the public.
