School Support Tax

The City of Prince Albert is required by legislation to bill and collect school taxes on behalf of the Province.

The School Support Declaration Form allows you to make a declaration of whether your education property tax dollars will support the Public School or the Separate School.

Here are some facts to keep in mind regarding school support:

• A single property owner cannot split school support
• Duplicate owners can pick different school supports to declare
• Any undeclared property owner will be designated to the public school system
• School declaration can not be changed for a tax year once the levy has been set
