Addressing Guidelines

Addresses are assigned to properties and buildings in the city and must follow the requirements in the Civic Addressing Policy.

Changing your address

You can request a change to your address by completing an application. Your application must include the following:

• $50 fee
• Reason for requesting the change (the reason cannot be based on your personal preference)
• Owner authorization, if you are not the property owner

If your application is approved, you will need to contact utility companies, Canada Post, etc. of the change.
