Community Safety and Well-Being

Creating Solutions

The City of Prince Albert’s Community Safety and Well-Being team tackles community challenges by strengthening collaboration, partnerships, and communication. Together, we can address complex social issues such as crime, substance use, mental health, homelessness, and garbage accumulation.

The City is helping services align, identifying gaps, sharing updates, and coordinating with provincial and federal governments. No one group has all the answers—we must work together to create change.

This includes leading the Community Solutions Forum, which brings people together to identify local problems and use existing resources to find solutions. This initiative grew out of the Housing Action Initiative. You can read more here: Community, Engagement and Homelessness Action Initiative Summary

We want you to become part of the solution.

The goal of Community Safety and Well-Being is to build a community where everyone feels safe, included, and able to thrive—where all residents can access housing, healthcare, education, food, income, and opportunities for cultural and social connection.
