  • Proposed Zoning Change to Allow 4-Unit Homes

    Prince Albert City Council will consider a report from Administration on Tuesday October 14, 2025 introducing a Zoning Bylaw Amendment to permit “4-Units as of Right” in all residential zones, excluding Country Residential. This proposed change is required to qualify for funding under the Canadian Housing Infrastructure Fund.

  • City Officials Joins SK Delegation to Ottawa

    The City of Prince Albert will join a Saskatchewan delegation led by Government Relations Minister Eric Schmalz and Advanced Education Minister Ken Cheveldayoff in Ottawa this week to advocate for a renewed cost-shared federal infrastructure program that is vital to the future growth and stability of municipalities across the province.

  • New Development Incentive announced

    A new tax incentive program is now available for developers building new commercial or multi-unit residential projects in Prince Albert. The program, approved by City Council on July 21, 2025, offers a declining scale tax abatement over four years and applies to new construction projects approved after that date.

  • Construction & Renovations Permits

    As construction season gets underway, the City of Prince Albert is reminding residents, contractors, tradespeople, and business operators that a valid business license and the appropriate building permits are required before commencing any work within city limits.
