Property Maintenance Appeal Board

The Property Maintenance Appeal Board hears appeals made by any person unhappy by an order made from a Property Maintenance Inspector or Bylaw Enforcement Manager regarding the following:

• Orders to remedy property nuisances
• Orders to enforce property standards
• Any other orders under Section 328 of The Cities Act, unless another appeal body is prescribed by Bylaw.

The Board is a quasi-judicial board appointed by City Council under the Property Maintenance Appeal Board Bylaw.
