Bids, Tenders and Auctions

We are committed to procurement decisions that are fair and transparent. The City's Purchasing Policy establishes rules that return value for the taxpayer, minimize risk for the City's financial interests, and encourage competitive bidding.

To be notified of opportunities through the City of Prince Albert you must be registered through Vendor Panel (typically purchases under $75,000) or SaskTenders.ca (typically purchases over $75,000). Both services are free and only take a few minutes to set up an account.

Purchasing Under $75,000

We manage the purchase of goods or services under $75,000 through VendorPanel, a web based procurement application.

To view opportunities, you must register your details via VendorPanel Marketplace. It's free and only takes a couple minutes. Once you have registered you will be able to add colleagues to your company profile. You and your colleagues must be registered to be invited to respond to new opportunities and will then be able to submit quotes.

Purchasing Over $75,000

We manage the purchase of goods or services over $75,000 through SaskTenders.ca.

Viewing of opportunities is open to everyone and access to download documents requires an account. There is no cost for registration and only takes a few minutes to get setup.

City Auctions

Auctions are done on behalf of the City by McDougall Auctions. You will need to register and create an account for online bidding. If you have questions about the bidding process, please contact McDougall Auctions at 1-800-263-4193.

All used, obsolete or surplus items owned by the City and no longer of use are up for sale. Items vary each year but often include computers, monitors, miscellaneous computer parts, half-ton trucks, bicycles, office equipment and stores surplus parts and equipment like chain saws or jack hammers. 

Monthly Impound Lot Auction
