Permits

Moving permits are for vehicles hauling a load that is over height, width, length or weight, or for moving a building through the city.

Any building and renovating project for new construction, additions, or renovations to a building or structure requires a building permit.

Development permits are for projects such as construction of a new building, an addition to a building or a change of use to a building or site (e.g. opening a hair salon in a building that was an office).

Encroachment permits are required anytime you are encroaching on city right-of-way (street, sidewalk, boulevard).

Sign permits are for the construction or installation of a sign.

Crossing Permits are for building a new driveways that connect city streets or avenues or widening an existing one.
