TransGas Limited, a subsidiary of SaskEnergy, will conduct a controlled flare near the Prince Albert Pulp Mill on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The flare is part of scheduled maintenance work at the TransGas block valve site, located approximately 12 km northeast of Prince Albert, north of Highway 55. Flaring is required to safely remove remaining natural gas from the line before work begins.

TransGas operations will notify Burn Control before and after the flare. Please note there will be no interruptions to existing gas services during these activities. This activity is planned, and there is no cause for concern.
